Locktober Reflection #11
Today’s reflection is a little different from the previous ones. That’s mainly because this weekend has taken me to Brussels, where I attended the very first Chastity Social ever held in Belgium tonight.
That’s why I spontaneously decided not to write about a specific word today. Instead, I want to look back on the evening and share a few impressions – which just feels more fitting tonight. Don’t worry, tomorrow we’ll return to the usual concept. But for now, let’s dive into this evening.
When I first heard that there was going to be a Chastity Social for the local community here in Belgium, I was immediately excited. After my great experiences in Berlin, I knew I wanted to be part of this one as well – even if only as a guest.
So I booked a flight, reserved a hotel, and with each passing day, my anticipation grew.
When I arrived at the airport in Berlin this morning and sat there waiting for boarding, I couldn’t help but smile to myself. It is a little crazy to fly to another country for just a weekend event like this, isn’t it? But at the same time, I truly believe that mutual support and solidarity within the chastity community are exactly what make it so special.
At first, it was a little challenging for me as a non-Belgian to make initial connections and start conversations – many of the attendees already seemed to know each other.
But once everyone had settled in and warmed up, the atmosphere noticeably shifted. That’s when I realized I wasn’t the only German there – and I soon met Markus and Martin, with whom I ended up spending the rest of the evening.
The three of us quickly felt that there was great chemistry between us. And although chastity – unsurprisingly – was a big part of our conversations, the dialogue never ran dry. It was not only enjoyable but also incredibly enriching for me. That’s exactly why I’ve always found events like this so valuable: they bring me together with people who share similar interests — people I probably never would have met otherwise.
And of course, a few memories from tonight will stay with us for a long time… because as the evening went on, things didn’t stay purely social. Toward the end, they became noticeably more playful – and a little kinkier. (Let’s just blame that on Locktober, which can definitely increase the pressure for many of us.) Or perhaps people in Belgium are simply a bit more open-minded – I guess the only way to find out is to come back.
And in fact, we’re already thinking about it. Markus, Martin, and I learned from the two hosts, Wald and Cédric, that the next Cage & Key in Belgium is already scheduled – for January 24, 2026! I think that gives you a pretty good idea of how much we enjoyed ourselves. The location, the people, the atmosphere – everything fit together perfectly and made the evening fly by in no time.
Now I’m back at my hotel room, and my eyes are barely staying open. So I’ll wrap things up here for today and look forward to bringing you the next Locktober reflection tomorrow. Bye for now!
